Nelda "Nana" Galvan

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Nelda "Nana" R. Galvan, which occurred on Thursday, September 7, 2023. Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend has entered into eternal rest and she is received by the loving hands of her husband, parents, sister, tia, cousins and sister-in-law.

Nelda is survived by her son Michael Guzman (Diana Gonzalez); and her daughters Michelle Galvan and Melissa Galvan; her brothers Alberto Rangel (Mary Rangel) and Ernesto R. Galvan (Elvira Galvan); her grandchildren Jazmyn Guzman, Juan C. Sanchez and Alma Mia Guzman.

Nelda was preceded in death by her husband Marcelino Galvan; her father Roberto Rangel and her mother Frances Rangel; her sister Norma R. Mendoza.

Rest easy knowing that your memory will forever be with us. I love you mom...to the moon and back.

A visitation for Nelda will be held Monday, September 11, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 26873 N. White Ranch Road, La Feria, Texas 78559.
