Oralia Ortiz

Lala enjoyed serving her community and helping others. She was always someone people could count on and gave her time and heart to anyone. She loved being with her family and staying involved in the community.

Oralia is survived by her only son, Raúl (Alma) Ortiz; siblings: Olga (Mario) Jr., Aleman Ortiz, Guillermo Jr., Espinoza, Olivia Ortiz, Jesús (Sara) Ortiz Jr.; three grandchildren: Gilberto (Jennifer) Sandoval, Zoe Amy Ortiz, Matthew Ortiz; and one great-granddaughter, Emma Sophia Sandoval.

She is preceded in death by her mother Petra V. Ortiz, her father Jesús Ortiz Sr., brother Juan Ortiz Sr., and sister Odilia Ortiz.

Visitation will be held at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home in La Feria, Texas on Sunday, December 14, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. with a rosary recited at 7:00 p.m.

Funeral service will begin on Monday, December 15, 2025 departing Heavenly Grace Funeral Home in La Feria, Texas at 9:30 a.m. to celebrate a Catholic Mass at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. with burial to follow at Heavenly Grace Memorial Park in La Feria, Texas.

Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Marco Aleman, Guillermo Espinoza, III, Casey Espinoza, Eli Espinoza, Ramiro Ortiz, Jesus Ortiz, III, David Ortiz, and Juan Ortiz, Jr. Honored to serve as honorary pallbearers will be Deserae de la Cruz, Jessenia Ortiz, and Deyanira Ortiz.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Heavenly Grace Funeral Home in La Feria, Texas.
