Oscar was born August 16, 1953 in Mercedes, TX, the son of Jose Agustin Fernandez and Lydia Adame Fernandez. Oscar is survived by his wife of 28 years, Debbie Fernandez; his children, Robert (Jana) Fernandez, Kathleen Fernandez, and Kristine Fernandez; his brothers, Jose Fernandez and Noel (Joan) Fernandez; and four grandchildren.
Visitation will be held today, Wednesday, December 14, 2016, beginning at 3 p.m., and will continue until 9 p.m., with the recitation of the holy rosary to begin at 7 p.m., at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home. Mass of Resurrection will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, December 15, at Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Mercedes, TX. Burial will follow at Heavenly Grace Memorial Park.
Honored to be serving as Mr. Fernandez’s pallbearers are Kenneth Reger, Joe Fernandez, Noel Fernandez, Robert Fernandez, Billy Maxwell, and Devon Everett.
