Patricia Willis Jones of Harlingen passed away on February 8, 2026, at the age of 73 at Veranda Nursing Home. Her death was caused by complications from advanced Dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. Patricia was born on October 15, 1952. She has been in the care of Veranda Nursing Home and their wonderful, attentive staff since 2016.
Patricia is survived by her two sons, Jeff Jones of Greenwood, Louisiana, and James Jones of San Antonio, along with her brother, Mike Willis of McAllen and her sister Rebecca Willis Crisp of Nashville, Tennessee. She has three grandsons, Oliver, Sebastion and Ben Jones, who were her pride & joy!
Patricia was a Christian, and is undoubtedly now reunited with and celebrating with our parents, Dixie and Jim Willis, our deceased sister Melinda Willis, and Melinda’s daughter, Samantha!
Patricia worked for many years at the Sears & Roebuck Service Center in Harlingen, as well as later teaching accounting classes at TSTC, and working in the administrative offices at the Home Depot in Harlingen.
A graveside funeral service will be scheduled later in March at the Restlawn Memorial Park in La Feria, the date still to be determined. The excellent staff at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home in La Feria are taking care of arrangements.
