It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved brother Peter R. Salinas who passed away peacefully in his apartment on March 30, 2025, at the age of 66, gaining the crown of glory and passing into everlasting life.

Being a pastor’s son, Peter developed a lifelong relationship with God, which lead him to encourage his family and many others to develop a closer relationship with God.
Although, unable to speak or hear clearly, his love for others brought joy, and peace to all who met him.
He was a member of First Methodist Church in Edcouch, where he served as an usher, acolyte and a greeter at the church. He often told people he was a pastor like his father and grandfather and would sing when given an opportunity.
He loved to play the guitar and sing “Cristo Maravioso.”
His peaceful and generous spirit will be missed, as his legacy will continue to live- on in the lives of the people he touched by the grace of God.
