Porfirio Leal Garcia

Porfirio (Pilo) Garcia Leal, age 82 of Santa Rosa, Texas passed away on Sunday, February 6, 2022. He was born on March 29, 1939, in San Fernando, Tamaulipas to Gregorio Garcia and Paula Leal. Porfirio is preceded in death by his parents, brother Homero, sister Jovita, father-in-law Miguel, mother-in-law Anita, son-in-law Jaime and great grandson Mason.

On behalf of his children, we would like to thank him for the love and support he gave us throughout these years. We would like to take this time to greatly appreciate his guidance, friendship, love, and work ethic that he instilled on us. This is the reason we are who we are today. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He leaves to cherish his beautiful memory his loving wife of 41 years Maria Luisa Garcia, his sons Marco A. (Amanda) Villarreal, Miguel (Sylvia) Villarreal, Luis G. (Alicia) Villarreal, Jose R. (Yesenia) Villarreal and daughter Ana L. (Jaime+) Sanchez. Grandchildren Crystal, Billy, Yvette, Esperanza, Melissa, Miguel Jr., Miguel Angel, Linda Estrella, Jaime Jr. and Jessica, 9 great grandchildren, brother Ladislao Garcia Leal, sister Raquel Garcia de Guerra and a close family friend Andrea Lozano.

Honored to be pallbearers are Jose R. Villarreal, Luis G. Villarreal, Jaime Sanchez Jr., Billy A. Villarreal, Miguel Villarreal Jr., Daniel T. Mancha Jr. and Ismael Badillo. Honorary pallbearers are Marco A. Villarreal and Miguel Villarreal.

A visitation for Porfirio will be held Sunday, February 13, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home, 26873 N. White Ranch Road, La Feria, Texas 78559. A rosary will occur Sunday, February 13, 2022 at 7:00 PM, 26873 N. White Ranch Road, La Feria, Texas 78559. A chapel service will occur Monday, February 14, 2022 at 10:00 AM, 26873 N. White Ranch Road, La Feria, Texas 78559. A bural will occur Monday, February 14, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Heavenly Grace Memorial Park., 26873 N. White Ranch Road, La Feria, Texas 78559.
