Rafaela Duran

Rafaela Duran, beloved matriarch and cherished family member, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2024, at the age of 92. Born on October 24, 1932, Rafaela dedicated her life to nurturing her family and instilling values of love, resilience, and kindness.

Throughout her life, Rafaela was known for her warmth and unwavering support. She embraced every challenge with grace and taught her children and grandchildren the importance of family bonds. Her home was a gathering place filled with laughter, delicious meals, and shared stories, creating cherished memories that will last a lifetime.

Rafaela is survived by her children Oscar Duran, Feliciano Duran, Sylvia Duran, and Imelda Duran, as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, each of whom carries a piece of her spirit. Her legacy of love and strength will continue to inspire generations to come. Rafaela is preceded by her husband, her parents and her children Jimmy Duran, Mario Duran, Noemi Duran, and Angelica Duran.

A visitation for Rafaela will occur Monday, October 28, 2024 from 1PM-9PM with a rosary at 7PM. On Tuesday, October 29, 2024, will be a funeral service starting at 9AM with a burial to follow at 3PM at Restlawn Memorial Park.
