Rito Homero Garcia

Rito Homero Garcia, 60, of Santa Rosa, Texas, devoted husband, father and grandfather was called to be with the Lord January 14, 2026. He was born in Gladewater, Texas on October 19, 1965 to Servanda Garza. He was married to Belma Garcia on September 16, 1985 and spent 40 years of loving marriage together.

Rito Homero Garcia is survived by his wife Belma Garcia; his daughter and two sons and their spouses 3 grandchildren and 4 brothers; Denise Garcia (Jordan Sanchez), Nathan Garcia, Samson and Edna Garcia, 3 grandchildren Aimee Garcia, Gabriel Garcia, and Natalee Garcia, brothers; Ruben Garza Jr, Maggie Garza, Carlos and Mary Garza, Rigoberto Garza, Ricardo Garcia.

Preceded by Servanda Garcia mother and Rosa (Anna) Contreras sister deceased.

Surviving brother-in-law Jose Juan (Delores) Rodriguez, sister-in-law Gracie (Oscar) Vela and sister-in-law Melissa Garcia Rodriguez and loving mother-in-law Fina Rodriguez along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will begin Thursday, January 22, 2026 at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home in La Feria, Texas from 2:00 PM to 10 PM with a service at 7PM. Funeral service will begin Friday, January 23, 2026 with a chapel service at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home at 10:00 AM and burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in La Feria, Texas at 11AM.

Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Samson Garcia, Nathan Garcia, Jordan Sanchez, Carlos Garza, Ruben Garza Jr, Leo Gutierrez, Joey Gutierrez, and Gaddi Rodriguez.
