Rogelio Olvera

Rogelio Olvera of Harlingen, Texas, passed away on April 8, 2026, at the age of 76, in San Antonio, TX, surrounded by his loving family.

Formerly of Ej. El Sabino, Municipio H. Matamoros, Tamps, MX, Rogelio was a longtime resident of Harlingen, TX.

Rogelio was a man who enjoyed spending time with those he loved most. He treasured family gatherings and backyard gatherings, and he was known for being a huge wrestling fan as well as a car and truck enthusiast. He will be remembered for the joy he found in being surrounded by family and the simple things he loved.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Maria Del Carmen Olvera; his children, Rachel Olvera Pedraza, Rene Olvera, Raul Olvera (Vanessa), Ricardo Olvera, and Rogelio Olvera Jr.; and his grandchildren, Samantha Pedraza, Jesus Pedraza, Eliseo Pedraza, Michael Pedraza, Samuel Pedraza, Mario Villars, Karla E. Olvera, Alexyz R. Olvera, Jeremy R. Aguilar, Olivia S. Olvera, Samantha N. Olvera, and Sara I. Olvera.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home, located at 26873 N. White Ranch Road, La Feria, TX 78559, US, on Sunday, April 12, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 11:00 pm, with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm.

Visitation will continue from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm on Monday, April 13, 2026, at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home.

The Chapel Funeral Ceremony will commence at 1:00 pm at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home. Christian Burial will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park, located at 14166 Business 83, La Feria, TX 78559.
