Glenn was born on November 30, 1931 in Orr, OK. He was preceded in death by his father, Elmer Porter and his mother, Desma Porter.
He leaves behind his wife of 56 years, Shirley; his 2 sons, David of McKinney, TX and Steven and his wife Cheryl of Ardmore, OK; 2 brothers, Bud and his wife Sheila of Minnesota and Don and his wife Kathy of California; his grandchildren, Bryan, Christopher, Alecia, Jackson, and Jenna and 7 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Glenn served 4 years in the U.S. Air Force, he was stationed in Denver, Co; where he taught radar. He later became a registered land surveyor and construction surveyor. His last construction job was I10 in Katy, TX before retiring.
