Sigfredo Galicia De La Pena, beloved father and devoted husband, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2025, at the age of 89.
Sigfredo was born on October 14, 1936, in the Philippines. At the age of 30, he made the courageous decision to leave his homeland in search of greater opportunities and a better life for his family. He settled in Boston, Massachusetts, where he became a long-term resident and built a life defined by hard work, perseverance, and dedication to those he loved.
In 2023, Sigfredo moved to Texas, where he spent his later years.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lolita De La Pena, with whom he shared 49 years of marriage. Their union was marked by love, loyalty, and deep commitment to family.
Sigfredo is survived by his son, Eric De La Pena of Huntington Beach, CA. His loving niece Rachael Rafols and her husband Celso of McAllen TX and several nieces and nephews in the US and Philippines who carries forward his legacy of strength, resilience, and devotion to family.
Sigfredo will be remembered for his quiet strength, life experiences across countries and cultures, and the sacrifices he made for future generations. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
