Thata Frances Hart (Beltz), age 85, passed away peacefully at home with family by her side on October 26, 2021. Thata lived a long, healthy life and fought a fierce but quick battle with pancreatic cancer.
Thata was born on June 29th, 1936 in the small town of Eads, Colorado. She graduated from South High School in Denver and went on to become a dental technician. She married Don Kastle and they brought three sons into this world, Don, Earl and Mike.
Thata met the love of her life in the late 70’s and she married Gary Hart on June 6th, 1981, in Denver, Colorado. The gypsy spirit in her allowed them to be adventurous. For 15 years, they traveled the USA and Canada in their motor home. Gary and Thata later took to the air and sea, traveling around the world. Jerusalem and London amongst her favorite places. In her travels, she loved meeting new people, making new friends and keeping in touch with beautiful letters.
She relocated to Texas in the Rio Grande Valley 22 years ago. She was active in several churches playing the piano, the organ and participating in bible studies. A Christian in every sense of the word serving Christ. A loving mother and grandmother and spouse. Thata touched the lives of everyone she met with her jovial sense of humor and kindhearted, helpful nature.
Preceding in death by parents, Arthur and Frances Beltz, and her grandson, Nick Kastle.
Survived by her husband, Gary Hart; Her five children, Don Jr. (Mickey), Earl (Kim), Mike (Debbie), Janet (Molly) and Sarah (Don); Her six grandchildren Savanah, Weston, Tim, Rachelle, Josh, and Anthony; along with ten, great grandchildren; and her sister Maryann McCann and her son, David.
