Ms. Ada always sat in front of us at Hillcrest Baptist Church. She was always so sweet with a friendly hello and a generous smile. She will be missed! Remember her always and she will be there with you. Your memories of her are a precious gift from God!

i was so sorry to hear of your moms passing. she was a great soul. i will never forget mrs ada. swimming with us at the lake . or rounding everyone she could possibly stuff into her wagon to see us to church.she was awsome.

I just read in the Oldham Era about the passing of Ada. I called my father,Lloyd Freeman, to tell him about it. We were sorry to hear of her passing but know she is in a better place.

The hymn sing won't be the same without her.

Flo and Charlie,  Just learned of your mother's passing.  We are so sorry for your loss.  She was a very loving person and a good friend of my mother's.  She had great strength and is an inspiration to others. I know you will miss her greatly.  God Bless you and all of the rest of her family.

I met Mrs. Ada in 1978 when I became the pastor at Hillcrest Baptist Church. She kept the nursery and always had a smile on her face. No matter what, she had a positive outlook and always looked for the best in others. She and Lucille were pillars of the church for many years.

So Sorry for your loss, i have so many memories of Ada when I was a kid and lived at Lake Louisvilla she was always on the go and smiling and seemed to always be so happy for each day she was given, I will think of Ada and smile, and knowing she is safe in Gods loving arms gives us all comfort.

Those of us who attend the senior center in Buckner will dearly miss Ada.  May Divine Providence watch over and keep her for all eternity.

She had been such a wonderful Blessing to us and many others.  She will be greatly missed at Cowboy Church.

My husband and I met Ada and her sister Lucille when we joined Hillcrest Baptist Church.  We had 2 little ones at the time.  They both were the sweetest ladies and made us feel so welcome.  From the start of attending there they both made us feel we were a part of the family.  They were a treat to be around. In the beginning my husband would get them confused so I told him to remember "Ada ain't got a cane."  I figured putting the A's together would help him remember and it did!!  We are so sorry for the family's loss.  It was a true joy knowing Ada.
