He was born to the late James Willard and Anna Parker Bell in Monterey, Kentucky on July 24, 1945.
AJ was a member of Eminence Baptist Church. He was considered a Mr. Fix-It, having worked in the hardware industry for 35+ years.
He enjoyed fishing, especially his time at Lake Jericho, and with the Roberts Family at Tractor Pulls. AJ was also a big UK Basketball and Football Fan.
He is preceded in death by his brother, James W Bell.
Left to cherish the memory of AJ are his son, Joey Bell (Tonia); grandchildren, Travis Bell (Sandy Saint Fort) and Danielle Bell; great-grandson, Timothy Bell; brother, George Bell; extended family and friends.
A celebration of AJ's life will be held on Friday, May 23, 2025, on 3pm at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home, 706 W Jefferson St, Lagrange, KY 40031 with military honors and burial to follow Bedford Cemetery in Bedford, KY. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 11am until the start of the service.
