Alice Faye Lewis, of La Grange, Kentucky, passed away on January 6, 2026, at the age of 75. Born on July 26, 1950, in Ohio to the late Wilbur and Addie (Poe) Cummins, she was the youngest of three kids.
Alice dedicated much of her life to the healthcare industry, serving as a nurse and working in claims. Her career was marked by her commitment to caring for others, a testament to her compassionate nature.
Family was of utmost importance to Alice, and her greatest joy came from being a Nana to her grandchildren. She is survived by her son, Troy Grobmeier (Becky), her daughter, Tracy VanHooser, and her step-daughters, Jennifer Spivey (Jay) and Deanne Osbourne (Damon). Alice also leaves behind 19 grandchildren: Lauren, Wade, Kelsey, Dalton, Kaylee, Max, Jake, Katie, Addie, Emmy, Michael, Katelynn, Rebecca, Ryan, Destiny, Megan, Khloee, Lynn, and Taylor, as well as twenty-two great-grandchildren, with one more on the way.
Alice's love for animals ran deep, and she is survived by her beloved cats, Savannah and Mister Peepers. Alice also had a passion for cooking, delighting her family with her delicious macaroni and cheese and desserts. She strengthened her relationship with the Lord while attending Southeast Christian Church, LaGrange Campus, and enjoying Contemporary Christian music on the radio.
A memorial gathering will be held at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home & Cremation Services, located at 706 W Jefferson St, LaGrange, Kentucky, on Sunday, January 18, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
