He was a member of DeHaven Baptist Church, Fortitude Masonic Lodge, LaGrange American Legion Post and Middletown VFW. Alvin was a Korean Veteran of the US Army and retired after 36 years at General Electric.
Preceding him in death was his wife Roma Gene Cunningham Walker.
Survivors include his children: Daniel A. Walker (Denise), David N Walker (Anita), Alvin F. Walker “Chip” Walker Jr. (Kyle) and Susan Riggle (David); sisters: Kathleen Miller and Christine Bright: 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Monday at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home with burial to follow in Smithfield Cemetery. Visitation 4-8 PM Sunday.
