She was owner of the cafeteria in the Lincoln Income Life Building.
She was a member of Oldham County Country Club, Okeechobee RV and Golf Club.
Survivors include her husband: Joe Simmons; children: Cindy Miller (James), Danny Simmons (Tracy), Ricky Simmons (Jodie), Billy Simmons (Lorie) and Jimbo Simmons (Paula); brothers: Louie Powell (Vicky) and Kenny Powell (Patti); Sister: Carolyn Rankin (Jimmy): 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
A funeral Service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, July 23, 2014, at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home with burial to follow in Mt. Tabor Cemetery. Visitation 3-8 Tuesday at the Funeral Home.
