He was born to the late Harvey Spencer and Inez Corbett Morton on January 13, 1937, in Hammond, IN.
Don was a member of Glenwood Bible Church and worked as an Accountant. He collected stamps and coins, but Don got the most enjoyment out of spending time with family and learning about his genealogy.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca "Becky" Ann Poisal Morton; sons, Robert John Morton and Michael David Morton; and granddaughter, Brittany Lee Morton.
Left to cherish Don's memory are his son, Ronald Lee Morton (Diane); grandchildren, Ronald Harvey Morton and Caitlin Rae Morton Johnson (Kory Austin Johnson); great-granddaughter, Juniper Lee Johnson, cousin, Lynda Kay Pittman (Frank LeDonne); extended family and friends.
Don will be laid to rest with military honors with parents and wife in Elmwood Cemetery in Hammond, Indiana on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at 12:00PM.
Glenwood Bible Church in Glenwood, IL, will be providing a luncheon at 1:30PM following the service.
