She was born on August 5, 1945 in Louisville to Roy Alexander and Virginia Dare Allgood.
Gloria was most proud of being a Mother, Granny, GiGi and Aunt.
She was preceded in death by her husband; Ronald Bowman Sr., son; Michael Allen Bowman and sister; Toni Holsclaw.
Left to cherish the memory of Gloria are her sons; Ronnie Bowman Jr. (Tina) and Jeffrey Todd Bowman (Amy); six grandchildren; Dara (Peppie), Christopher (Whitney), Aaron (Sarah), Kennedy, Dylan, and Brooke, nine great-grandchildren; Adalya, Dallas, Cameron, Carter, Collin, Sophia, Nora, Kendall, and Griffin, siblings; Glenda Terrell, Nancy Terrell, James "Butch" Allgood (Jean), and Richard Allgood (Debbie), a host of nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at 2pm at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home, 706 W Jefferson St, LaGrange with burial to follow at Valley of Rest. Visitation will be at the funeral home before the service starting at 11am.
