He was born to the late Harry Lee Sr. and Kathleen Strong Bodenheimer in Louisville, Kentucky on April 19, 1944.
Harry was a proud Air Force Veteran and he was a union steward for Local UAW 791. He enjoyed boating, especially at the Admirals Anchor Yacht Club. Harry also had a passion for traveling, a favorite spot being Gulf Shores.
He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter; Christy Riederer, and brother; Paul E Bodenheimer.
Left to cherish the memory of Harry are his wife of 44 years; Janet Bodenheimer, children; Paul Douglas Bodenheimer (Kerry), Michele Salisbury (John), Walter Brian Bodenheimer, Todd N Bodenheimer (Jannah), 12 grandchildren; Zac, Taylor, Jazmyn, Derek, Michael, Emily, Nick, Ryan, Jordan, Weslee, Dylan and Wyatt, sister-in-law; Sharon Bodenheimer, extended family and many friends.
A celebration of life for Harry will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 2pm at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home, 706 W Jefferson St, LaGrange, Kentucky with burial to follow at Valley of Rest in LaGrange, Kentucky. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 11am until the start of the service.
