Herbert "Herbie" Charles Hendron

He was born July 13, 1948 in LaGrange to the late Herbert and Thelma "Toots" Hendron.

Herbie retired from the United States Postal Service where he was a Mail Carrier in LaGrange. He enjoyed fishing, bowling and being a jokester. Herbie was a Vietnam Veteran having served in the United States Army. Herbie above all else loved being a PaPa to his grandkids.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 49 years; Bonnie Sue (Staples) Hendron and brother; Benjamin Herbert Hendron.

Left to cherish the memory of Herbie are his daughters; Cynthia Norman (Brian), Karen Borst (Thomas), Robin Ezell, and Christie Calderon (Oscar), grandchildren; Austin Norman (Jessica), Alexis Norman, Shane Norman, Rachel Rhudy (Christian), Danielle Hempel, Jordan Baisas, Charlie Calderon, Kathy Bolin (Jordan), KaDee Ezell, Courtney Phillips (Scott) and Krista Ezell, great grandchildren; Jared, Brody, Mia, Lucas, Carter, Lily, Bentlee, Jaxx, Hallie, Madeline and Nyla, sister; Janie Smith, extended family and friends.

A celebration of Herbie’s life will be held at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home & Cremation Services in LaGrange, KY on Friday, May 12, 2023 at Noon with entombment to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens East in Louisville, KY. Visitation will be from 9:30am until the start of the service.
