He was a retired principle at Kentucky State Reformatory and a retired teacher at Oldham County High School and Luther Luckett Correctional Complex. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was a Kentucky Colonel.
Survivors include his wife Toby Tincher Howard; daughter: Lora Howard Tincher (Todd); grandchildren: Megan Tincher Ashby (Christopher) and Andrew Howard Tincher: great grandson: Jackson Sawyer Ashby.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 31, 2015 with burial to follow in Valley of Rest Cemetery. Visitation from 4-8 PM on Friday.
