He was a member of Jeffersonville First Baptist Church. Wayne was an electrician for VA Hospital and IEBW.
Preceding him in death was his parents: Irvin and Virginia Rockwell and his first wife: Shirley Ann Rockwell.
Survivors include his wife: Beverley Mays Rockwell; daughters Kimberly Stanke (Guy) and Vanessa Roberts (Jon); step-daughter: Sommer Hancock (Jason); sister; Glenna Crowder (Mike); grandchildren: Ashlea Stanke, Chandler Stanke, Prescott Stanke, Ella Grace Roberts, Augustus Roberts, Kessler Hancock and Spencer Hancock.
A funeral Service will be conducted at 11 AM on Wednesday, November 2, 2016, at Jeffersonville First Baptist Church with burial to follow in Hanover Cemetery. Visitation from 2-8 PM on Tuesday at Heady Radcliffe Funeral Home and after 10 AM on Wednesday at the Church.
