She was born to the late William Francis and Rita Louise Kriel on February 16, 1935 in Louisville, KY.
Janet enjoyed gardening, farming, and was a member of Westport Methodist.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Coy Mings and son, Steve Mings.
Left to cherish the memory of Janet are her children; Doug Mings (Susan) and Becky Mings, 3 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, extended family and many friends.
A celebration of Janet's life will be held at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home & Cremation Services on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at 11am with burial to follow at Valley of Rest Cemetery in LaGrange. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday from 3-5pm.
