J. C. always treated me like a queen. Always had a good thing to say to me. Never joked with me as he did my husband. A good man and he will live in the hearts of all who exchanged a good word with him. Never in pain again.

My heart goes out to all of the family at this time and the days ahead. Take comfort knowing that J.C. is at rest with JoAnn.  He has longed to be there since her passing.  He no longer has to fly his flag at half mast.  J.C. will be greatly missed by many.

I am so sorry to hear that J.C. has ridden his motorcycle to heaven. We worked together at the Branch Office in Goshen from 1997 to 1998. He was the Deputy Sheriff for the Oldham Co. Clerks and Oldham Co. Drivers license office. He always had a joke to share or some wisdom. He kept Jackie and I in tears between customers. This is till we meet again J.C. from Sylvia Burke(aka Sliver). My deepest sympathy to his family.

JC Long was one of my best friends. We were roommates in Madrid Spain in the early 60s. I will never forget the good times we had together. I did have the privalage of meeting him 3 years ago when my family and I went to Kentucky. My family fell in love with him and his wife. I for one will miss my old friend dearly. I do wish to keep in touch with his family and me and my family wish them well in the future and also share their sorrow. Respectively Warren Gay and family from Maine.

I am sorry we were not as close as I would have liked during the years; cousins seem to drift away sometimes, my heart goes out to all of his children and family, I am truly sorry for their loss.

My thoughts are with the family and friends of JC. He hold a special place in my life and memories. He was a great friend. Some of the best times of my life were when I served with him on LFRD. He will be missed.

Loved this guy! JC & JoJo made me feel like family when I wasn't...I get the feeling they were like that with plenty of people. So sorry you left us here so soon; so happy you get to be with JoJo.

J.C.was our on call EMT.  It was 1978, I was 17 and it was football homecoming. I kicked a football in the house, missed and kicked the couch.  My toe was laying all crooked. I was freaking out because I didn't want to miss the game. Mom said call J.C., he came over taped my toe up and I went on to the game. He was a great friend to my family.

J. C. was a friend of mine nd I loved him like a brother. (We were actually closer than my brother and I are.) Every time he came to an American Legion Meeting he would call me "DAVE", althoug he knew my name was Bill.
I will keep the family in my prayers.

R.I.P. my friend I've lost too many of you lately.

Janice,Jaime ,Danny and all the family ,Even tho you have lost him , he will live on in your heart and memories  forever ..There is rejoicing in Heaven ! They are together again ! Prayers for all of you .
