She was born to the late T.L. and Gypsie Bell in Louisville, KY on March 22, 1927.
Jean was a member of LaGrange Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her siblings; Pat Humphrey and R.A. Bell.
Left to cherish the memory of Jean are her husband of 73 years; Dorsa A. Shockey, children; Viki Morris, Alana Alsbrooks, Jamie D Shockey and Mark A Shockey (Melissa), 4 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, brother; Paul Ray Bell (Bonnie), extended family and friends.
A celebration of life for Jean will be held at LaGrange Baptist Church on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at 3pm with visitors being accepted at 2:30pm until the start of the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to LaGrange Baptist Church, Hosparus or charity of choice.
