He was born to the late James Allen Sr. and Iva Lois Whitworth Curtis on December 14, 1957 in PeWee Valley, Kentucky.
Jeffro was a man of the dirt! He worked for Anything Grows for 34 years and put his heart and soul into his love for plants, trees and mother earth. He was a Blues man to the bone; attending many blues festivals/concerts and was a member of The Kentuckiana Blues Society. Jeffro also had a love for hunting, fishing and Jesus!
He had a smile that warmed your soul and a laugh that was soothing and happy. Jeffro would help anyone in need, just because of his kind heart. He was a gentle, loving man that was gifted by God to all of those who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brother; Gary Lee Curtis.
Left to cherish the wonderful memories of Jeffro are his Fiance; Mary Ann Rajabi, brothers; Jim Curtis (Fran) and Paul Ray Curtis, sister; Carole Eisenmenger, numerous nieces and nephews, his family at The Kentuckiana Blues Society, and his extended family and friends.
A Celebration of Jeffro's Life will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at 3pm with visitation from 11am until the start of the service at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home, 706 W Jefferson St, LaGrange, Kentucky 40031.
Memorial donations can be made in Jeff's name to The Kentuckiana Blues Society, PO Box 755, Louisville, Kentucky 40201-0755.
A note from Mary Ann, "I do know I will see you again and will forever be your soul mate and life partner. Love forever my man of dirt and Blues, 'til we meet again My Love."
Jeffro left his presence on this earth and will be missed.
