He was born to the late George Rogers and Iva Campbell Clark on February 10, 1941 in Bourbon County, Kentucky.
John worked for Smith Transfer as a truck driver before retiring in 1985. He owned and operated Deco Automotive in Pendleton.
He was preceded in death by siblings; Nancy White and Roger Franklin Clark.
Left to cherish the memory of John are his wife; Denise Coombs, son; Gary W Clark (Karen), grandchildren; Nathan and Anna Clark, siblings; Mary Blankenship and James R Clark (Connie), extended family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at the family residence from 2-4pm.
Memorial gifts can be made to the Heart Association or WHAS Crusade for Children.
