He was born to the late John and Opal Glauber on June 3, 1938.
Johnny retired from Kentucky State Reformatory in 1997, was a member of the Kentucky Air National Guard as a Fire Protection Specialist, LaGrange Fire and Rescue Department, former chief and board member, LaGrange Utilities Commission Board as a member and secretary and a member of Quads Car Club. He was also a member of Worthington Church of Christ.
Preceding him in death are his parents and sister; Mary Lillian Glauber.
Left to cherish the memory of Johnny are his wife of 52 years; Sherry Glauber, special niece; Mandy Glauber, special great-nieces and nephew; Haley, Reagan, and Quinn Feigel, brothers-in-law; James Holloway (Sue) and Donald Holloway (Patti), sisters-in-law; Phyllis Brasher and Jean Stapleton, and 14 nieces and nephews.
Services to celebrate the life of Johnny will be held on Saturday, June 10 at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home at 11am with burial to follow at Valley of Rest in LaGrange, KY. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Friday evening from 2-8pm.
Memorial donations can be made in Johnny's name to WHAS Crusade for Children.
