He was born to the late Matthew and Inez Deacon Lucas in Fisherville, Kentucky on November 17, 1938.
Joseph was a Truck Loader for Ford.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife; Helen Lucas, son; Joe Lucas Jr., and sister; Betty Freeman.
Left to cherish the memory of Joseph are his son; William "Bill" Lucas (Cindy), daughter, Betty Jo Bolin; 7 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and many extended family and friends.
His wishes were to be cremated.
