Kenneth "Heavy D" Douglas Walker Sr.

He was born to the late Arthur Sr. and Bertha Walker on June 16, 1957 in Middletown, Kentucky.

He was a security officer for Moore Security in Jeffersonville, Indiana and a member of Buelahland Baptist Church in Buckner, Kentucky. Attended Eastern High School in Middletown, Kentucky and was an avid UK fan. Kenny had a passion for building model cars, gospel music, and a great family man.

Kenny was preceded in death by his parents, in-laws; James and Carolyn Baskerville, 3 brothers; Roy Walker, Roger Walker, and Tommy Walker, and 3 sisters; Edna Mae Ashcraft, Bertha "Tuffy" Simpson, and Elizabeth "Suggy" Lindsey.

Left to cherish the memory of Kenny are his wife of 39 years; Carolyn "Sissy" Walker, children; Judith "Michelle" Walker (Lee), Virginia "Lou" Walker, Kristopher "Skywalker" Walker Sr, John Walker Sr (Crystal), Kenneth "Little Kenny" Walker Jr (Brittany), 18 1/2 grandchildren, 2 sisters; Judith Ham (Moses) and Juanita Thomas, brother; Arthur Walker Jr (Opal), dear friends; Diana Huston and David Goodlett, and many nieces and nephews.

A service to honor the life of Kenny will be held at Buelahland Baptist Church on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at 2pm with burial to follow at Floydsburg Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11am until the start of the service at the church.
