Marcella W. Wilhoite Marsh

Marcella was a 1967 graduate of Oldham County High School. Marcella never met a stranger. She made friends wherever she worked or went. She retired in 1998 from Anthem Blue Cross, after 26 years. She was also employed at Parrot Cleaners in Shelbyville and Cracker Barrel in LaGrange.

Marcella was a caring and beloved wife, mother, and grandmother "Gran". Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She loved to read, play scrabble, and was a devout Christian. She was a longtime member of Buckner Christian church and also regularly attended First Christian Church where she was a member of the ladies circle.

She is survived by her devoted & loving husband of 42 years, Melvin Marsh; children, Jim Marsh (Melissa) and Jo Nell Eidson (Stacy); Grandchildren, Andrew J. Barnett II, Christine Eidson, & Michael Conner Marsh. Marcella also leaves behind many friends and relatives. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

The funeral will be at Wednesday at 11am at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home in LaGrange. Cremation will follow. Visitation will be from 4-8pm on Tuesday.

A memorial service will be held in Shelbyville at a later date.
