He was born on April 26, 1954 in Louisville, KY to the late Jack and Bettie Kleier.
Michael was a season ticket holder for the Louisville Cardinals Football Team for 30+ years, loved golfing and was an avid reader. He was a member at Covenant United Methodist Church and enjoyed the Men's Prayer Breakfast. Above all, Michael was a family man!
Left to cherish the memory of Michael are his wife of 49 years; Joyce Hahn Kleier, 3 children; Melissa Durbin (Brian), Stephanie Purvis (Jeff) and Neil Kleier (Rebekah), 10 grandchildren; Catherine, Elisabeth, Abigail, Matthew, Mayla, Adam, Daniel, Karson, Joshua and Genevieve, brother; Frank Kleier (JoAnn), extended family and friends.
A celebration of life for Michael will be held on Sunday, November 21, 2021 at Noon at Duncan Memorial Chapel with burial to follow in Floydsburg Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday evening from 4-8pm at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home, 706 W Jefferson St, LaGrange.
Memorial donations can be made in Michael's name to Covenant United Methodist Church.
