Neal retired from Catalyst Technology in 1988 and was then free to pursue his passion of woodworking.
A member of the Louisville Artisan Guild and the Henry County Arts and Crafts Guild, Neal was an accomplished wood turner and the recipient of many awards for his craft. Neal took great joy in sharing his work with others and was always generous in donating pieces and giving them freely to many who crossed his path.
Neal was a powerful yet gentle man of few words who lived a full life on the land that he loved in Henry County.
All are welcome to join a service to celebrate Neal at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in LaGrange on Wednesday, July 6th at 11am. Following that Neal will be honored by the Army and laid to rest at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery in Fort Knox in a private family ceremony.
