She was born to the late Robert and Victoria Siler in Compton, California.
Patricia was preceded in death by her husband; Elmer “Joe” Lovitt, brother; John and twin sisters; Pauline and Aideen.
Most people knew Patricia as “Pat”.
Pat was a super mom before the term was even conceived. She would cook a hot breakfast for the family on a gas stove, take her children to school, go to work as medical technologist, come home and cook dinner for the family. This all while doing things to improve the community and participate in church activities.
After her sons became adults, she didn’t slow down. She expanded her community service, taught Sunday School, made ceramics, canned vegetables from the garden, while continuing to work as a medical technologist.
She highly valued education and loved Cumberland College and University of Louisville, where she received diplomas.
She loved cooking and made fantastic chocolate chip cookies for almost everyone she met. Later in life she found great pleasure in coloring.
She loved Jesus, her husband Joe, her sons, and her dog Boston.
When it came to the big important things in life, she always did the right thing. Certainly, in heaven she will hear the words, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”
Left the cherish the memory of Pat are her sons; Robert Joseph Lovitt, David Lee Lovitt, Mark Edward Lovitt.
