He was born to the late Harold Franklin and Kathleen Morgan Henson on June 23, 1945 in Jefferson County, Kentucky.
Philip retired from the Sheet Metal Workers Local 110 and enjoyed building and working with his hands. He was always lending a hand to family, friends, and neighbors.
He is preceded in death by his brother; Donald Henson (Karen).
Left to cherish the memory of Philip are his wife of 58 years; Donna Henson, daughters; Kristy Waldridge (Bill) and Amanda Henson (Joel Burroughs), grandchildren; Mackenzie (Austin), Clayton, Preston and Hudson, great-grandchildren; Lincoln and Everleigh, brother; Ronald Henson (Patsy Tinnell), sister; Linda Brooks (Spencer), extended family and friends.
A memorial gathering for Philip will be held on Sunday, February 11, 2024 from 3-7pm at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 706 W Jefferson St, LaGrange, KY 40031.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Philip's name to Hosparus Health.
