Born May 13, 1950 to John S. and Ruby Priest, Phyllis is a 1968 graduate of Oldham County High School and an Alpha Iota Honorary graduate of Sullivan Business College. She worked as a secretary for the Oldham County Attorney and Commonwealth Attorney in Oldham County, Kentucky prior to starting her family. She later returned to work, first as a secretary and then as a corporate paralegal, for Frost Brown Todd LLC.
She married Paul C.Roberts Jr. on November 20,1971 at Duncan Memorial Chapel in Oldham County and was married for 18 years.
Phyllis leaves behind two daughters, Susan Elizabeth Roberts Shelley (Jack) of Crestwood, Kentucky and Lindsey Michelle Roberts, of Louisville, Kentucky, two grandchildren, John Paul Shelley and Lauren Ann Shelley.
Phyllis will be greatly missed but her amazing love and memory will remain with us until we meet again.
A private funeral has been scheduled with burial to follow in Valley of Rest Cemetery, Lagrange, Kentucky.
