Sandy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter and friend. She had a deep passion for rescuing horses and dogs and was an active member of PEO. Her compassionate spirit and love for animals were well-known to all who knew her.
Sandy is preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Black, and her mother-in-law, Joan Ames.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Jon Ames; daughter, Rylee Huffman; father, Samuel Black; sister, Sue Ellen Black; step-daughters, Brooke Ames and Trisha Willis; grandchildren, Sebastian Willis and Oliver Willis; and her beloved dog, Tyson.
A visitation for Sandy will be held Tuesday, February 4, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 706 W Jefferson St, Lagrange, KY 40031, followed by a funeral service beginning at 6:00 PM.
Donations in Sandy’s memory can be made to the Saddlebred Rescue and East coast boxer rescue.
