She was born on September 10, 1950 in New Haven, Kentucky to the late Charles and Cordia (Duncan) Darius.
Tanya retired from Wal-Mart in LaGrange after 30+ years of service. She taught Sunday School for many years. Tanya enjoyed painting, coloring, crossword puzzles, and reading. Her happy place, where she could always be found, was on her front porch swing enjoying a cup of coffee.
She is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Darlin' Horstman; one brother, and one sister.
Left to cherish the memory of Tanya are her children, Tammie Kemp (Vincent) and Larry Horstman Jr.; grandson, Dakota Horstman; great-grandson, Jack Sterling; brothers, Billy, David, and Jim Darius (Kim); and sister Melody Nolen (Steve); extended family, and friends.
A celebration of Tanya's life will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025, at 6pm at Greater Life Apostolic Church, 114 N Beckley Station Road, Louisville, KY 40245 with a time of gathering from 5pm until the start of the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Greater Life Apostolic Church in Tanya's memory.
