" Valendia " was such an amazing lady ,I came to the families ceramic shop for years,loved & cared about the Bailey family like we were related .When she married & her first son was born, she was the best MoM, I was always so proud to know this lady & her family. Valendia, was the most amazing aunt anyone could ever imagine having. I loved spending time with her as a child, one of my oldest memories is her sitting down with me on the floor teaching me how to tie my shoes. I loved that she always had time for me and that she was the most accepting, loving, kind person ever. I spent many weeks staying with Jim and Valendia on their farm as a young teen. She loved to beat me at backgammon. I love her and will always cherish her kind heart.

Valendia was the strongest woman I know.  She went thru so much and just kept going.  I'll miss her, we did a lot of ceramics together.  She was such a great mom and grandmother.   Diane Constant  (LaGrange)

Valendia was an angel while she was on earth and now she will forever be an angel in Heaven.  Jim, Anthony, Amanda, Jeffrey and boys - you are in my prayers.  Mary Jo, you have stood by me during my difficult time and I will aways be here for you.  Love and prayers being sent!!!!

I worked with Valendia at Davis Bros.Travel Plaza in Pendleton, Ky. many years ago.  She was one of my store managers in the gift shop.  She was a lovely lady and did a wonderful job for the company.  She was very uplifting and never felt sorry for herself and could do many different jobs in the store. I always admired her ability to complete her job well and always had a smile for everyone.  Prayers to the Ott family, I was sad to read about her passing.  Jim and Marilyn Ohlmann

I worked with Valendia at Davis Bros.Truck Plaza in the gift shop.  She was one of my store manager employees.  A wonderful person to know and how much she cared about her job and the people she worked with and the strength I gained through her ability to never feel sorry for herself.
