I just found out coach Mosby passed.  I am very sorry for the loss. What a life, what a great man, an inspiring coach.  I will never forget his voice, I can still hear it today on the practice and playing field.

May the grace, of God continue with both the Mosby and Graham families.  I did not know William, personally, however because we shared years, on the campus, of MVSU (The Valley), we are connected and VALLEY STRONG.

rememberin Coach Mosby  from 40 years ag0 . He coacht both our Sons   mike and Tommy Jesse at the Wrestlin Team at Thomas Jefferson High Sschool .He  made a big Differents in there Lifes .Thank you Mosby you left us with good Memories . Mosby and I were 12year students @ Hamilton School in Memphis,, TN. We were both team mates on the Jr high football team. We played summer little league baseball.

I remember Coach Mosby as a spirited but yet fair individual who was all business on the football field. Off the field was a different story because he had some of the most unique quotes I’ve ever heard. You will be missed Coach because you left a lasting impression with the young men’s lives you came in contact with whether you knew it or not. I see you going through the pearly gates saying to God, How do you feel my Lord and savior. You will be a Thomas Jefferson Patriot forever and we loved you Coach !! 

Never got a chance to play with Mobley , but the times I got to  be around him he was a great mentor to me as well.
He will be greatly missed.

I send my deepest sympathy to your family. William “Motto” was a member of the Delta Devils Football team at MVSU. He wore the red helmet and left a legacy that I was honored to continue bearing the torch and wearing the red helmet with pride.

He was a very positive coach at my High School Shawnee he will be greatly missed. Tim Williams 

Coach Mosby was my defensive football coach at TJ high school in the early 80s. He loved the game and pushed us all to be our best. He left an impression on me that I carried not only when I took the field but in other aspects of life. My sincere sympathies to his family. He was a great man. 

You pushed me to do what I doubted in myself. In Sports and education you pushed us to be great. Thanks for believing in us and will continue to push for greatness that you saw in us. Gone in the flesh but present in spirit. 

Coach Bill Mosby was a gentleman and role model for his players and students at Thomas Jefferson High School.   My husband, Head Coach Don Pope, loved having Bill on his staff as a great friend, assistant coach, and motivator for the team.   Coach Mosby made football fun with his humor and pre-game cheers.   Players, coaches and students loved him.

Coach Mosby was friend,teacher & a great defensive line coach.He brought the best out of me.Its funny during football season he payed attioned 2 everythg.I was on the offensive line,it was the last game of my senior yr.We told our qb 2 through an interception,he did & we were running 2 get the guy who intercepted the ball.I was the 1st 2 hit the guy,i hit him so hard we both landed off the field & he was up under the fence that surounded the field.So as i ran off the field coach Mosby said 2 me," great Stick Baker"!I remember it well even though it was 41yrs old.Coach Mosby raised my level of confidence.Loved me some coach Mosby.My Prayers are with the family.

Coach Mosby has been an influence in my life and on my character since my freshman year at Moore H.S. (86). I consider him a great influence. There will never be another like him, he's one of a kind. You will be missed Coach.

Coach Mosby was a great man. I had the honor of being a student of his back in the early 1980's.  He made a big impression on me and I still tell stories about him to this day! Never underestimate the positive impact that he had on the young men that he mentored.  Praying for you in your time of grief.

Coach Mosby, it was an honor to know you, to have  been taught and coached by you.  May you rest in peace Sir!  Patriots forever!
