Donna Tuttle Arnold

She grew up in Hartley and graduated from the Hartley independent school district. Soon after graduation their family moved to San Diego, She was working as a clerk in San Diego for the war effort when she met A.D. Arnold, a sailor stationed there. The rest is history, they were married on November 17, 1945 and were married for 72 years before A.D. passed away on July 7, 2018.

After A.D. retired from Shell Oil company, Mom and Dad traveled and spent time with their family. Donna and A.D. were huge Astro fans and watched thousands of games together. Donna volunteered for 19 years at the local food bank in Houston. She was also a long time member of Saint Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, John and Blanche Tuttle, daughters Pat Martin and Jan Knust, brothers Omer, Melvin, Snook, Jack, Richard, Tom and sister Jean. She is survived by sons, Steve Arnold and wife Kay, Tommy Arnold and wife Peggy, sons in law Fred Martin and Alan Knust. Grandchildren; Andrew Martin (Paige), Jill Berry(Sam), Adam Martin(Katlyn), Cody Arnold(Kristin), Allison Deuterman(Jason), Mark Arnold, Doug Arnold(Elizabeth), Kyle Arnold(Morgan). Great-grandchildren; Owen, Olivia, Asher, Isaac, Zane, Jake, Drew, Trent, Truett, Tess, Emmy and Bennett.

The family of Donna Arnold would like to thank you for your prayers, support and love as we celebrate the wonderful life of a GREAT woman.

A Memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 18, 2022 at 4045 Deerfield Village Drive in Houston, TX., followed by Inurnment at Memorial Oaks Cemetery in Houston at 4:00 p.m.
