Born in Dallas, Texas, Kyle graduated from Highland Park High School before attending the University of Texas at Austin. He later returned to Dallas to attend Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, where he earned his law degree in 2018.
During his early years at UT, Kyle met Ellen Aydam Ringle, the love of his life. From the beginning, Kyle was smitten. He proposed on a winter night in New York City, and they were married in Austin in November 2019. His love for Ellen was profound, and it grew even deeper with the birth of their son, Forrest John Ringle, in March 2024. His love for his son was paramount.
After graduating from SMU Law School, Kyle clerked for a Federal District Judge, the honorable Karen Gren Scholer. He later built a successful career as a trial attorney and recently fulfilled a professional dream by opening his own criminal defense practice.
Despite the demands of his work, he still made time for the passions that brought him joy. He was a gifted musician who could play multiple instruments, and he had a particular love for the drums. Among friends, his ability to play by ear was unmatched. He had an enthusiasm for history and world geography and could name every country’s flag. He was also an avid fan of Longhorn football, loved fast cars, cherished time spent camping in the American Southwest, and adored his dog, Bowie.
Above all, Kyle will be remembered most for the joy and laughter he brought into the lives of those closest to him. He had a gift for showing up, especially in difficult times, and often with humor. His presence made life brighter for his family and friends, who will forever treasure the memories they shared with him.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Sue Kinslow Ringle. He is survived by his beloved wife, Ellen Aydam Ringle, and their son, Forrest John Ringle, as well as his father and stepmother, Brett Ringle and Judith Swift of Dallas, Texas. He also leaves behind a great many friends who miss him dearly.
