Laura Kathleen Burns, age 52, passed away in San Jose CA on February 1, 2026. Laura was the daughter of Patricia Burns Hahn of Lakeway and the late Carmen Daniel Burns. She enjoyed 42 years living at the California State Development Center and Hospital in Sonoma and loved her wonderful caretakers at Helping Hands Special Needs Home in San Jose. We are forever grateful for the loving care given to Laura at these two institutions.
Laura is survived by her mother, Pat Burns Hahn, her step father, Mike Hahn, her brother, Sean Burns and spouse, April, her nieces Christina and Sarah Burns and her nephew, Colin Burns.
Laura's life will be celebrated on Saturday, March 21st at 11:00 am at a Mass of Resurrection at Emmaus Catholic Church, 1718 Lohman's Crossing Rd, Lakeway, TX 78734, followed by a reception/lunch in the Parish Activity Center.
