Matilde was the loving and devoted wife of Guillermo for seventy-three years. Even after all those years, they still slept holding hands.
She is survived by her loving husband, Guillermo, and their children and spouses: Matilde McLemore (Greg), and Guillermo Jacobson (Dr. Kalen Jacobson); grandchildren: Justin, Megan and Logan McLemore; and Kira, Kian, Mairin, and Dr. Connor Jacobson (Kavita Sinha).
She was loved by all for her sweet, kind and generous ways. She loved painting in oils and on porcelain, never realizing she had a true gift. Family and friends were the lucky recipients of her works of art.
She also loved to bake her famous empanadas on special occasions, so delicious that everyone wanted her recipe, which she shared generously when asked, but they never tasted as good as the ones she made with her own hands.
The family wishes to thank Arbor Terrace and Magnolia Hospice for their compassionate care and their kindness towards her and our family in her final months.

A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at 2:00 pm at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 411 Ranch Rd 620 South, Lakeway, Texas 78734.
