
Mostly, Cecil, I knew Mozelle through you.  Whenever you spoke of her it was with such love and respect that I was always left you feeling more hopeful about the world.  A woman who can inspire that kind of love in a man like you must be truly great.  

The only real conversation I got to have with her was during a big old shindig you had at your ranch.  You, as usual, had a gang of friends in your wake; which gave me maybe 30 minutes to sit and speak with the loveliest and sweetest of women, Mozelle.  We didn't talk about anything big; she didn't have to and I didn't want to.  It was enough to spend time listening to her talk about her life with you.

I will miss that wonderful woman, Cecil, but feel enriched by having known her just a little.

Uncle Cecil,
I'm so saddened at the loss of Aunt Mozzie. However, I know she is with our Lord and Savior in Heaven. Most of my memories of visiting were when I was young, but I always loved it. Aunt Mozzie was one of the sweetest, kind hearted women who I'm sure influenced so many young ladies and added joy to this Earth. I also remember you loving her so much, which is a wonderful memory to have!  Just think, she is in Heaven reminiscing with my mom and dad!

God has picked one of His most beautiful flowers out of His Earthly garden and taken our sweet, kind, beautiful, loving, smiling Mozelle to His Heavens to be one of His Blessed Angels above.  Mozelle will be on of the most beautiful, bright, twinkling stars in the Heavens at night.

Prayers and Thoughts to Cecil and their Families and Friends during this time of loss.  Cecil and Mozelle had many Special people in their lives, with three who loved them Special, Vincent Arriaga, Loius Alvarez and Wanda Brotherton who always loved and helped in every way they could.

The Perkins Ranch has always been our Dearest Neighbors to the Grumbles Ranch for many generations in the hills Southwest of Austin.  We will miss the sweet and always smiling with Her twinkling eyes, 'Miss Mozelle'.

Dear Mr. Perkins, i remember my Mother, Del, always talking about how she met you and Mrs. Perkins way back at East 6th Street, when she had the Jalisco Restaurant.  You and Mrs. Perkins worked there across the road and she remembered you as a young man and Mrs. Perkins and always spoke about what a beautiful and kind woman she was then and now.   I myself always knew her as such also.   Always a smile on her face and the most sweetest woman.  You know that I myself have known you and Mrs. Perkins for years from Rosie's.   I will always think of her and miss her kindness.   I know you will miss her terribly.
We pray for you and your family that God will bring you love, peace and strength during this difficult time.  Thank you for bringing her into our lives and for the many fond memories we will always have of her.    Love, Del and Alice Godoy and family.
