Teresa Jean Rodgers

Terri was born on February 24, 1949 in San Antonio, Texas the daughter of Edward and Glenda Hill. She was an Alpha Delta Pi and a graduate of Southwestern University in Georgetown and received her M.A. from University of Texas in San Antonio. She was a distinguished teacher and well respected school administrator, principal and curriculum director in Northeast San Antonio, Alief, Plano, Westlake, New York and Graham school systems.

Terri moved to Houston early in her career and soon met Larry Rodgers. They fell in love and have been married for 28 years and have one daughter, Alyson. They relocated several times over the years, but Austin has always been Terri’s favorite home.

Terri enjoyed interior decorating, reading, traveling, laughter and spending time with her friends and family.

Survivors include husband, Larry Rodgers of Graford, daughter, Alyson Rodgers of Austin, mother, Glenda Reeder of San Antonio, sister, Laura Hill of New York City.

Terri’s Memorial Service will be held at Weed Corley Fish Funeral Home on Sunday, July 18, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. 411 Ranch Road 620 S in Lakeway, Texas. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Cancer Society- 11701 Stonehollow, Austin, Texas 78754.
