Betty L. Etherton

Etherton, Betty L., went home to rest in God's care on March 28,2025, after a brief illness. Born in Atoka, Oklahoma, on February 19, 1936, to Ernest and Christine Williamson. She has been a resident of the Antelope Valley since 1956. Preceding her in death are her father Ernest R. Williamson in 1983, her mother Christine Williamson in 2005, her brother Charles R. Williamson in 2001, her sister Ruth Ann Bourque in 2024, and her loving husband Derald Etherton in 2003.

She is survived by her daughters, Dena LaRosa and husband Bill of Palmdale, Cheryl Haynes and her husband Jeff of Bakersfield. Her pride and joy were her nine grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Granddaughters Kimberly LaRosa and Katherine LaRosa of Palmdale, Grandson Nicholas Haynes and his wife Tiffany, great-grandsons Nolan and Ronan of Bakersfield, Granddaughter Katelyn Taylor and her husband Douglas, great-granddaughters Abigail and Kristen of Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas, and Granddaughter Megan Haynes of Bakersfield. She was further blessed with the love of numerous cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.

Our loss is heaven's gain. You took a part of us with you when you went home. Services to be held at Grace Chapel, 44648 15t Street West, Lancaster, CA. at 10:00a.m. on April 25, 2025. A short graveside farewell will follow at Joshua Memorial Park and Mortuary, 808 East Lancaster Blvd. Lancaster, CA at 11:30a.m.
