Daisy is survived by her sons Gary Lynn and Richard Gene of Springfield; two step-daughters, Janet of Mojave, California, and Beverly of Virgina; and one step-son, Harold of Virginia. She has 3 grandchildren and 14 step-grandchildren who survive her. Daisy spent most of her life in California, and with a few journeys to the Midwest, always returned to California and the desert which she loved. She enjoyed writing, was renowned for her handwriting , and was a published poet. When she could no longer attend church she would write notes, by hand, to members expressing her concern for them. During most of her adult years love for "her church" was a central focus in her life. One of the last things she said expressed her love for her church family in Rosamond.
