

Earla Mae Richardson, was born September 21, 1920, in Oakdale, Louisiana to Lucille Jones Duffy (Mother) and Stepfather, John Duffy. Earla lived with and was nurtured by her grandparents, Clem Jones & Olivia Turner Jones.
In 1939, Earla married the late Hillery Conedy Sr., from this union seven children were born: Audrey Mae Conedy, Pastor Hillery Lee Conedy Jr., Brenda Joyce Conedy, Gloria Jean Conedy-Hartdige, George Washington Conedy, Minister Debra Ann Conedy-Freeman, and Gary Rochelle Conedy. Her children Brenda, Gloria, George, and Gary preceded her in death.
In 1956 Earla was proud to become an ordained and licensed Evangelist, under the leadership of her pastor Bishop Conedy, COGIC District Supervisor, and the late Bishop J.A. Blake, who were under the leadership of the late Bishop C.H. Mason who was the founder of The Church of God and Christ. She was blessed to travel the country and minister God’s word, winning souls to Christ.
In 1957, Earla married the late, Tommie Richardson Sr., from this union, three children were born, Tommie Richardson Jr., Carlethia Richardson-Murray, and Scott Richardson. The Richardson’s eventually left Compton California and moved to Lancaster California in 1963. Elder Tommie Richardson was ordained and licensed as a pastor, and he and Earla opened, the Light House Deliverance Church of God in Christ in Littlerock, California. They would evangelize to individuals on the streets of the Antelope Valley Community. After the passing of her husband, Elder Richardson in 1974. Mother Richardson pastored the church until a new pastor arrived.
Mother Richardson continued her journey to spread the good news for 40-years. In 1996 She officially retired from evangelizing. Nonetheless, she never stopped teaching and spreading the gospel to whomever she met until her death
On the afternoon of October 29th, 2020, at 2:08pm, God whispered to Mother Dear, and said to her, “Well done, thou good and faithful servant, I have not forgot your work and labor of love, which you have shown toward my name. (Hebrew 6:10) Enter into the joy of the lord.” (Matthew 25:21). Mother Dear, most likely said, “Yes, I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which you gave me to do (John 17:4) I wished I had my guitar” Evangelist Earla Mae Richardson at the glorious age of 100 years, closed her eyes and made beautiful transition into heaven.

She leaves to treasure her life and legacy grandchildren: Larry Conedy Sr., Eddie L. Wimbley Sr., Alex Conedy Sr., Patricia Conedy, Darlene Simpson, Darrell Conedy, Jonathan Conedy, Cynthia Conedy, Debra Jenkins-Littleton, Tawana Langford, Evyette Gaines, Ja’net Young, Denay Anthony, Hope Hartdige-Grant, Dorina Wofford, Isaiah Hartdige Jr., Earl Hartdige, Harold Hartdige, Corlethia Conedy, Dorothea Conedy-Jones, Evelyn Conedy-Riser, George C. Conedy, Terry Conedy, Tanisha Jones, Joshua Freeman, Roland Murray, Ssgt. Virgil Murray, David Murray, and Dariana Scott.
She also leaves approximately 147 4th generation-great grands, 5th generation-great great grands, and 6th generation great-great-great grands. A host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
